Equestrian with Sarah Jackson
Equestrian photography always interests me. The image of horse and master captured together is very powerful. I had been waiting to get a chance to take this kind of shot with a dark background and shadowed subjects. In this case Sarah Jackson (owner of Otterbourne Riding Centre) and Peter.
Pete is a very funny horse and loves to pose. Almost like a natural and as if he knew that he was the star of the shoot. Millie (Sarahs' other horse) with the white patch on her head was also a great horse. Loved the attention and such a wonderful Princess to work with.
I can honestly say that I thoroughly ended this Equestrian photo session. It opened my eyes and I saw how a horse and it's master connect and work together. I also found out that horses love mints as Pete was determined to get the mints out of my pocket.
About Otterbourne Riding Centre
Otterbourne Riding Centre is a family run business in Guernsey, Channel Islands. Caroline has been running her riding school for over 30 years. They cater for riders of all ages and abilities and they offer a range of riding lessons, hacking and beach rides.
Their staff are CRB checked and we also have a number of qualified first aiders. They are a Pony Club Approved Centre and a member of the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS)
